One of the questions I’m most often asked as a winemaker is “how do you know when it’s time to pick?” Let’s explore harvest decisions and more in an upcoming Zoom on September 1, 2021 at 5:00 pm PST. We will cover the sexy stuff (like tasting juice, skins, and seeds), the headache parts (labor, tank space), and the scary bits (Mother Nature). I’ll certainly have harvested Torrey Hill by 9/1, so we can tie the first pick of the vintage into our chat.
